Yaani is built to help people inspect suspicious messages and understand how they spread. Its reports can be wrong, incomplete or overtaken by new evidence, so consequential decisions should use the cited sources and appropriate professional help.
Use the case, not just the label
A verdict compresses the current evidence. Read the factual explanation, confidence, uncertainty and source roles before acting or sharing. A newer check takes priority over older source history inside the compendium.
Not emergency, medical or legal advice
For immediate danger, fraud in progress, medical symptoms or legal deadlines, contact the relevant emergency service, bank, clinician, lawyer or public authority. Yaani can help assess a forwarded claim; it cannot replace time-sensitive professional action.
Submit only what is necessary
Do not upload credentials, private contact graphs, intimate material, unrelated conversations or personal data that is not required to check the message. Do not use Yaani to identify, target, harass or profile a person or community.
Corrections are part of the product
Facts change and sources conflict. Compendium cases preserve their evidence trail and can point to newer checks instead of silently rewriting history. When a conclusion is superseded, Yaani keeps the earlier context visible and directs readers to the current review.
Availability and fair use
The public service may limit or pause requests to protect privacy, reliability and provider spend. Automated abuse, attempts to bypass safeguards and submissions intended to manufacture unsupported public claims may be rejected.
